Being a full-time Blogger and Internet Marketer, i dedicate most of my time to Blogging. But it has not been the case always. Back in time, I used to dedicate some of my evenings to Blogging besides my day job. With every passing day it kept getting better for me, and today my passion has become my full time activity & primary income stream. Everyone likes to have passive income streams, and with this desire most would like to start some sort of extra income generating online business. And, if you’re into writing, blogging is one of the best ways you can choose. However, one of the hardest things for aspiring bloggers is to find the time to put your virtual pen to paper. In this article i’ll be discussing Tips for New Bloggers to manage time for your Blog with Daily Routine, besides your primary day job or business.
” Start off by making a TO-DO list “
‘ Work smarter, not harder! ‘ The secret of all financially successful people is simply that they are organized and one of the greatest ways to be organized is making smart plans to utilize each day. Make a list of the things you want to do the next, every night before you go to bed. Divide your day in sections and divide your tasks in each section of the day. Schedule your trips, and eliminate all that isn’t necessary.
” Arrange your tasks based on their priority “
A scattered to-do list still seems unorganized. You need to arrange your tasks in a series based on the task’s priority and see where your blog fits. If you actually want to work on your blog you must put your blog in the first three priorities of the day. Blogging isn’t as hard as it seems, all you need is a calm mind and a fixed time to do it.
” Don’t let extra activities steal your blogging time “
Stuff like checking random emails, responding to Facebook messages or editing and uploading an Instagram picture can do a great injustice to your blog. You do not even track your time while surfing on the internet and social media. Making comments on random posts or checking on people can eat a lot of your time. Instead make yourself a cup of coffee or tea and sit down to show some love to your blog.If you keep dedicating some time out of your day to your blog, within no time, you will start seeing results. Now, the choice is yours, either you can sit in a couch and do random stuff on social media, or give 2 to 3 decent hours to your blog.
” Set short term challenging, but achievable goals “
Goals can be a huge motivation but, you should always start from smaller and realistic goals that are attainable and as soon as you reach one, aim for a slightly bigger one. Save your time and set a goal to research your keywords for the next 10 blog posts in advance rather than doing them it in the time you want to write a blog post. Set targets and assign yourself with tasks you want to get done with at the end of the week or a month rather than a far flung future
” Stay consistent “
Blogging is a long game and consistency is the key to a great blog. Be consistent and make sure to add value to your blog each and every day. If you want more people to visit your blog, you will have to generate more content. Once you build traffic on your blog, people who know the value of your content will start expecting new content from you and then being lazy or neglecting your blog can disappoint many of your readers who wait for your content. Your consistency will not only help inviting new people to visit your blog but also keep the ones who already follow your blog.
” Conclusion “
Whether it’s your part time job or full time job, if it benefits you in any way, make sure to keep it in your top priorities. Give yourself time and room to think how to work on your blog before even starting it. Being organized and consistent can get you anywhere you want to go.
